UK Playspace Designer
As the Playspace Designer, your role will be to design, cost and visualise play, sport and fitness projects to help deliver our customers’ expectations through visualisation with an end goal of creating fun, engaging and inspiring spaces for children across the country, creating memories and experiences that will last a lifetime. You will do this by utilising your existing skills in Autodesk suite, and the Adobe creative suite. Producing work of outstanding quality and within allotted, scheduled time you will play a key role in supporting the attainment of the UK’s sales objectives.
Working closely with our in-field Sales team, and Sales Coordination function you will take clients requests, using information gathered by the sales team and understanding of the project requirements to apply your skills and creativity to this critical function within sales cycle.
As a Playspace Designer, you will:
- create play, sport and fitness concept design scheme through to fully developed, detailed presentation material in line with specific project briefs and budgets.
- associated collation and formation of process quotations to sit alongside designed output , harnessing our business specific quote system.
- considering the requirements of all major stakeholders in this process both internally and externally to deliver creative solution, which meet the needs of our customers and positively promotes our products and services.
- work to defined timescales per project and manage your workload alongside stakeholder objectives to deliver the highest quality of output.
- contribute to idea sharing and design best practice with your peers to enable the design departments continual progression and maintain industry leading standards.
- liaise with external and third-party providers of product an services where required, to provide designs and associated costed proposals which offer a fully holistic design and build project solution.
- work within and contribute to a dynamic and creative design team with a focus on maintaining a winning culture.
As a Playspace Designer, you will have:
- working knowledge and relevant experience of AutoCad, 3DS and the Adobe Suite.
- preferrable working knowledge of Corona Renderer.
- able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- have a willingness to learn quickly and adapt to change.
- ability to follow brand guidelines alongside creative and technical direction.
- Great communication, able to question and positively challenge the norm as well as actively seeking feedback.
